Hallo Tim,
I show one of mine and Mr. Ralph Trimble's comment (Yes another Ralph )
"Hi Sylvain,
Trying to catch up again. Sorry for the delay.
This is a lovely re-entry in the upper left! I haven’t seen many with such a nice shift at the top, but little if any throughout the rest of the design.
I’ll put this one in my folder of items to add to my site.
Cheers,
Ralph"
But unfortunately, Ralph had some sad family news. So he is not active on his site. (May be in the next year)
Best regards
Sylvain

No idea about the value?
Cancel should be GUELPH ONTARIO
Hallo Ulrich,
Nr.60 under Scott,
GUELPH ONTARIO it is, normal cancellation for the period. but very nice for this type, normally very dark and hiding the design.
PN me with e-mail, I'll send a nice scan for the cat value. (This weekend because I'm away)
Best regards.
Sylvain

Hallo,
If some of you are interested in this area, we have in Canada very nice covers in that topic.
Here some commercial examples which are nice.
Best regards
Sylvain
Hallo,
A little modern here which makes a good variety to add to my collection.
A 2 cents excise stamp tied to this local mail dated 02.01.1930
Nice looking cover with postal marks on two different hours from my birth town.
Job well done by the postal clerk by adding a 4 cents hand stamp.

Nice letter, Slyvain - if I were born in Montreal, it would have been mine.
Hallo Ralph,
Zitatif I were born in Montreal, it would have been mine.
Ha ha... stealer!!!!!
Nice to see that your mind is very, very open to all the wonderful things that make postal history, from where to where so ever - brilliant way of collecting with no borders.
Hallo,
Even during world war time
Sylvain
Hello Sylvain
well, the ones, who were glad enough to leave Europe, until the desaster started, were very happy to find such a lovely country like Canada to escape the big horror - show. So the stamp sounds strange/funny for uns now, but wasn´t in the end. Also an interesting part of our postal history, isn´t it?
