Hello Sylvain,
"Mönchhof" is a real tiny place close to Raunheim, I know very well, as I live and work not far away. It has today approximately 10 - 15 Inhabitans. I´ve never seen any postal items from there.

Hello BK
Haaaa.yep...Santé!!! loll not too much on the beer my friend!!
In the letter, she talks about vacation in Darmstadt. She went to Bad Nauheim in a train for 3 days. (took 2 hours to do the trip from Darmstadt)
She talks about mineral sources there in Bad Nauheim..Do they still exist?
Sylvain
Hello Sylvain,
they still exist there, as the (new) German name for this town ist BAD Nauheim and "BAD" tells you, that there is something healthy - either in the air, or in the water.

Hallo
Here a document that was in a small lot. EF Nr.56 10 Pfg.
Out of the nice cancel, anything interesting? Signature?
Best regards
Sylvain
Hallo Sylvain,
a very interesting one, not only because of the niche REICHSPOST Mi-Nr. 56, my favorite one of the Germania-issues. I wonder about the königlicher Landrath in the year 1900, when Bassen an the county of Achim where part of the german empery long ago. The county of Achim was part of the Kingdom of Hannover till 1866, which was annexed by the Kingdom of Prussia after the Austro-German war. Prussia dethroned the welfish king Georg V. of Hannover.
He was forced to go into exile (Wien / Austria) but he never accepted the annexation of his kingdom by the prussians. Since then the hanoverian and welfish attitude was to be strictly agaist the annexation to prussia, reinforced by the widely held view that there had been the annexation by an illegal act. That might be the reason for the relict königlicher Landrath in times where there already was no longer king in Hannover.
Gruß !
Tim
Hallo
Very interesting story. So this is a reception document. Are the 4 and 15 related to something due?
@ Tim, here a better view of stamp.

Hallo Sylvain,
So this is a reception document. Are the 4 and 15 related to something due?
It`s a notice of receipt. The bureau of the district-administrator of the county of Achim had sended such standart-forms to each member of the county-concil. Every member had to confirm his participation on the next meeting of the county-concil and receipt of the agenda thereby. The blue notations have no postal / fiscal relevance. I think they were done from the bureau of the district-administrator just for the sake of an internal registration / filing.
Gruß !
Tim...a fan of the REICHSPOST-Germania-issues

Hallo
Here the back side of one shown in previous post (England destination).
Forwarded to USA via PADDINGTON (England), NEW YORK and finally arrived in HAZLETON, USA.
A trip from 26 of March to 05 or 06 of April 1902. Not bad for the postal system 100 years ago.
Regards
Sylvain
Hallo Sammlerfreunde,
.
.
Viele Grüße
